The story of the school bag

There was once a very lucky and unlucky school bag. The school bag was given away from the grandparents to the grandchild. It was called Samsonite. It was worn on planes. On the first day of school to the last. The thing the school bag didn’t know was that it was going to another country and a completely different school. That summer it got to eat apples, tangerine peels and half eaten sandwiches. It got to be thrown in alleys by mean people. It got to get wet and cold.

The bag wanted a break , but the child just kept on using it, until it would fall apart. So one day the backpack decided to get lost and taken by someone else who would take better care of her. Samsonite sat through cold winter days, wet days, and burning hot days for years. Then her lucky day came, she got found by an old man that looked familiar and way too happy to have found  a backpack. Then the man croaked and rasply laughed because he finally found his backpack after 60 years of searching. Samsonite couldn’t figure out why the old man was so happy and looked so familiar. Until he put her on, it was like they were glued together. But then she saw something when she was put in the passenger seat of the car, the man was crying, and with every tear one wrinkle went away until he became young again.

And cycle went on until the bag was dust. Samsonite thought she wasn’t loved and cared about, but she was loved so much she didn’t realise that the boy always looked for her for ever, and cared about her.
